I don’t reflect enough on the reality of God’s global presence.
There is a neat item on God’s fact sheet.
It is an “aha,” moment to think that no matter my location God is with me. When I arrive in Argentina God is there. He is there because he never left me and was present in the great city before I arrived.
God is everywhere. I am always only here.
I trust God to care for those I know across the face of the globe since He is present with the ones I love. He loves the ones I love. Better still, He is present with those around the world whom I will never know during this life. He knows their needs better than me. God is in the global business.
Global God is always present—everywhere.
God so loved the world He gave His one and only son. What an indescribable gift of the Creator. His gift is free of charge. Like any gift, I must receive it to be advantageous for me. Unless I open my gift, I will never be able to have what the Generous Giver desires for me. The gift is life forever with God in His restored garden. What a shame if I don’t open and receive God’s gift.
With each day, I become more aware of the value of a gift from the global God.
Each year during the holiday season, I receive a gift of milk chocolate almond toffee from a friend in Colorado. It is a wonderful vice. The taste is extraordinary. I tell others about it. I make opportunity to share it with others. They agree with my assessment. Many want to know how to acquire a gift of chocolate almond toffee like mine.
To keep for myself the gift God made available on a hill and raised from an open Jerusalem tomb is the height of selfishness. That gift can change the face of the globe. The world wants to know how to acquire a gift like mine.
It is a gift to aid world peace where Heads of State and world ambassadors fail.
His gift results in eternal peace. Global God loves the entire world. It is the ultimate gift—eternal eternity with God who loves each person He has ever created. God loves every member of every country and every tribe. He is Global God. Oh, how He desires love in return. What a tragedy for anyone to die without returning his love.
My prayer is that God will use me in ways I cannot fathom to yet be a dispenser of His love to our Globe. Will you join me in that prayer? Perhaps together we will have the courage and the guts to pray it with sincerity.
Stay tuned. – Gary Sorrells
