There is a church hymn based on Psalm 23 that states “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days, all the days of my life…”

it returned to me on my outing this morning and I thought I would share the Godwink I was given in the picture above.

Some of you will know this next song I’m referring to and some will not. It is a song by the popular band U2 called “Where the streets have no name.”

There is a line that states,”I believe in the kingdom come, when all the colors bleed into one…”

As I was listening to that song last night, I recalled learning in my college art class that light is the combination of every color. Thank you professor Arnie Anderson for your wonderful instruction in all of your classes.

The thought of the kingdom come and all colors bleeding into one is a comfort knowing that the whole world is indeed in God’s hands. Because of Jesus, who holds it all together, his reign continues to spread throughout this magnificent Creation.

We all need sunlight everyday for health reasons, and Sonlight. I put myself at the top of that list and I’m thankful to be reminded of the Son’s love when I see the sun above, for it indeed is His goodness and mercy that is following me all the days of my life.
