You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you – Song of Solomon 4:7/NIV

Picture the Bride of Christ whole and happy, like an engaged woman preparing for her wedding. The groom sees no flaw in her. Both are forgiving. Call it stars in their eyes, they overlook any blemish in each other knowing they will grow together in their union.
While on earth, it is easy to look at what does not go well. But for the purposes of this post, I will focus on what goes right, the healthy relationship and the fact that our engaged groom sees us as flawless because He is complete and whole. Therefore as the Bride, clothed in Christ, I am whole; the first person to love me is Christ, the second to love me is myself, that I may know how to love others.

“…love your neighbor as yourself.” – Matthew 19:19/NIV
How I use the words I am towards myself set me up for the day. These are not simply words, they are the seeds and fruit of Life.
If God is I AM, then the way I use the words I am set my believe system.
I am loved, loving, filled, forgiven, joyful, peaceful, giving, happy, open, authentic, gifted, capable…

Imagine if everyone loved themselves as God’s beautiful creation? How would we treat ourselves and our neighbors? How healthy would our minds and hearts be? How might we speak life into others? How might love grow more? How might connections be strengthened?
How might the Bride function better while awaiting her Groom and grow in every way?

It is my belief that God works deeply in everyone not inhabited by Christ, for when one obeys the laws God set in motion, God is pleased. The conscious bears witness to the belief system in each human (Romans 2:15-16), for He has built eternity in all men’s and women’s hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
As the ‘60s band The Who sang, “Who are you”?

Who are we? What do we believe about ourselves, and how has that determined the course of our lives.
Please feel free to share.
I will go first.
I believe I am all those words above and include the following: a beloved daughter of God..
I can say these things for one reason. God’s grace alone.
I am who I AM says I am!
Amazing!
