GodReflection: A Word We Can Count On—Introduction
As followers of the Way of Jesus, we have some powerful words at our disposal that describe The Great Holy Presence who guides our walk across this life as we move toward eternity to live in the presence of Father God-Jesus Son-Holy Spirit.
These powerful words given by The Holy shape the people we are in the present and continue to grow our character while in the process they make us more like our teacher and Lord, Jesus.
We have a lot of words to choose from in our English Language. Both the Webster
and Oxford dictionaries included over 450,000 entries with the appearance of new words at each sunrise. Yet of all these words only a few of them are Words We Can Count On to turn us into the image of Jesus.
One way to look at our walk upon the earth is to look at the words we can count on to shape us. Such words are powerful words. There is nothing stagnate in their makeup. Good words are from God, and harmful words are from Satan. Neither Holy God nor Evil Satan intend for their words to be non-formative.
It is important that we select Words We Can Count On that will define who we want to become in Jesus. It is also crucial that we understand the powerful words of Satan and keep them free from our vocabulary and expelled from our lives.
To reflect on God includes reflection upon God’s vocabulary. We want God’s words to dominate our lives.
Over the next several posts on this GodReflection sight, may we reflect on these words and apply them 
to our own lives, as we examine A Word We Can Count On. Let’s prepare for our life on God’s new reclaimed earth under the new heaven.
Our focus will be on words that will help us walk closely with Jesus. They will be words that shield us from evil and protect us from the attacks of Satan when he shoots his weapons at us.
